Wall St Week Ahead: Will earnings spark further stock declines?
NEW YORK (Reuters) - Since October, estimates for first-quarter earnings growth have tumbled while the S&P 500 has surged. With the earnings season starting next week, the outlook is not as sunny as in previous quarters.
Employment gains slow, jobless rate drops
WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Payrolls rose far less than expected in March, keeping the door open for further monetary policy support from the Federal Reserve, even as the unemployment rate fell to a three-year low of 8.2 percent.
