Stock futures edge lower after claims data
NEW YORK (Reuters) - Stock index futures added to losses on Thursday after data showed initial jobless claims rose more than expected last week.
Jobless claims rise sharply
WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The number of Americans filing new claims for unemployment benefits rose last week, reversing a sharp decline in the prior week but still pointing to a labor market that is slowly healing.
Morgan Stanley posts higher adjusted earnings
