Description: Nine people were killed and 30 others injured when a bus in which they were travelling overturned in West Bengal's Purulia district today, police said. The incident took place near Baragran village, about 40 km from here, in the district when the bus, on its way to Manbazar from Adra, hit a culvert while trying to avoid a truck coming from the opposite direction, police said. Five persons died on the spot while four others succumbed to injuries at hospitals, they said. The injured have been admitted to Bankura Medical College Hospital, Purulia District Hospital and other hospitals, police said.
