Description:

A U.S. Navy helicopter crashed in West Virginia during a military training injuring at least four out of 17 people on board the aircraft. The helicopter crashed on Thursday afternoon in a remote mountainous area some 32 km (20 miles) to the south of the city of Lewisburg. It was a part of a medical crew at the drills involving the Navy, the Army, the Air Guard and the Canadian Army. West Virginia Air National Guard Lt. Col. Harrison Gilliam told the news channel that it was not clear how badly people were injured. The rescue operation is underway, however it was complicated by poor weather conditions as no helicopters are able to get to the crash scene prompting rescuers to send ground vehicles there.
