Description: A power outage began at 10:31 a.m. Wednesday affecting more than 14,000 customers in Blackfoot and surrounding areas of Eastern Idaho including Moreland, Riverside, Arbon, Fort Hall, Pingree, Springfield, Sterling and portions of Pocatello, American Falls and Aberdeen. The outage originated in Idaho Power’s Donn Substation near the J.R. Simplot factory in Pocatello. The cause is under investigation.
