Stock futures higher after GDP data
NEW YORK (Reuters) - Stock index futures rose on Friday after economic growth was in line with forecasts, slowing as expected in the second quarter and defying fears of a more pronounced slowdown.
Chevron profits slip with oil price dip
(Reuters) - Chevron Corp , the second-largest U.S. oil company, reported a lower quarterly profit on Friday as oil prices weakened from a year earlier, though fatter refining margins cushioned the blow.
