Description: Some 20 passengers aboard United Airlines flight 897 from Washington D.C. to Tokyo were apparently injured when it hit turbulence on Saturday, rescue workers said. The plane arrived at Narita International Airport at around 3:50 p.m., and the injured were transported to local hospitals by Narita Fire Department. According to passengers' accounts, the Boeing 747-400 was caught in turbulence as it was flying over Alaska.
