Description: Almost 138 people became homeless following the collapse of 23 homes in the municipalities of Kipungo and Matala, in southern Huila province, due to heavy rain, the local head of the civil protection services told Angop today. According to Virgílio Fonseca the pour also forced the collapse of one school preventing 40 children from attending their classes. He said the provincial government and the civil protection service are now creating conditions to resettle the homelesses supporitng them with tents, zinc plates, foodstuffs and clothes.
