Description: Official sources reported that “At least three people died and 20 were wounded this Wednesday when a car bomb exploded in the center of the Colombian port of Buenaventura.” The authorities in the region reported to ‘Caracol Radio’ that “the explosion occurred in front of City Hall and the Office of Buenaventura, in the town of Valle, 320 miles southwest of Bogota.” Yerlis Fori, director of the local emergency committee, said in the same radio that “they are investigating the possibility of the death of a fourth person that died in a shop due to the blast.” And that “There were damages in glasses and three people died. It is believed that the number of people injured will increase because people still reaches to the hospital.” International media reported that “The port of Buenaventura is considered strategic for drugs and arms trafficking, there are also the rebels from the guerrilla Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC) and drug groups.”
