Description: A tornado has been reported in Alabaster, according to the Shelby County Emergency Management Agency. The touchdown was reported on Shelby County 17 and 1st Avenue in Alabaster near Stoney Meadows subdivision and Fox Valley apartments, said Mindy Nash of the EMA. Police are setting up a command center, but Nash said she did not know if there were any injuries. Trees and power lines are down near Shelby County 44 and the roof of a home in the Fox Valley area was damaged, according to the National Weather Service.
