NEW YORK/WASHINGTON (Reuters) - A Pakistani-American man has been arrested for allegedly driving a bomb-laden car into New York's Times Square on Saturday night, U.S. authorities said on Tuesday.

BP struggles to stop Gulf of Mexico oil leak

GOLDEN MEADOW, Louisiana (Reuters) - BP Plc struggled to stop oil gushing unchecked from a ruptured undersea well in the Gulf of Mexico on Tuesday and calmer weather raised hopes of reducing the massive oil slick and limiting its impact on the U.S. shoreline.
