NEW YORK (Reuters) - Stock index futures fell on Tuesday, tracking global equities lower, as investors grew concerned over the pace of economic recovery and prepared for data expected to show further weakness in U.S. housing.

NEW YORK (Reuters) - Dell Inc is preparing to sweeten its bid for 3PAR Inc after its earlier bid was topped by rival Hewlett-Packard Co's $1.6 billion bid for the data storage company, according to a report on Bloomberg's website.

SEOUL (Reuters) - State-run Korea National Oil Corp ruled out raising its $2.6 billion hostile bid for Dana Petroleum after winning the backing of almost half the UK oil explorer's shareholders but needs more deals to reach its output goals.
