Description:

Eleven employees at Camp Williams in Utah have been decontaminated and are in the hospital after complaining of symptoms that Utah National Guard officials think may be related to a hazardous substance. Lt. Col. Hank McIntire says the workers were in an office building Thursday when they complained of itchy eyes, scratchy throats and runny noses. They were taken to a Riverton hospital in private vehicles. A few other people not reporting symptoms were also taken to the hospital as a precaution. McIntire says none of the symptoms appears to be life-threatening. Some of the workers were civilians and others were with the Guard. The National Guard's hazardous materials team is investigating. McIntire didn't know what may have triggered the symptoms.
