Description: At 6 a.m. this morning a medical helicopter crashed after transferring a patient from Parsons to Jackson-Madison County General Hospital. A pilot an 2 nurses were killed during the crash. It was said that the plane went down a few miles from its destination, which was its base in Brownsville, when it crashed. Authorities said that witnesses to the crash reported seeing a large flash of lighting followed by an orange glow in the perimeter of the crash site. The thunderstorm that morning is the expected cause for the chopper crash, and authorities are investigating the situation for further information.
