Description: Oklahoma Governor Brad Henry has declared a state of emergency for all 77 counties because of severe weather. The National Guard has been activated. Interstate 44 is closed from the Red River to Oklahoma City. Those stranded in Comanche County between mile marker 27 and 67 will be picked up and taken to emergency shelters. The emergency shelter are open at Lawton High School gym at Fort Sill Blvd. and Ferris. There's also a shelter at the Cache Fire Station. Comanche County Emergency Management said power has been restored in Cache. PSO said power has been down in areas of Western Comanche County and Snyder because transmission lines are down along with many power poles. Workers are trying to restore power to the area and hope to have power restored by midnight. The Comanche County Sheriff's Office has closed Highway 7 Eastbound due to multiple accidents. There are numerous accidents on Oklahoma roadways and officials recommend staying off the roadways.
