Situation:

Eight more people died from the cold during the past two days in Romania, reports are saying. The number of victims in the past seven days rose to 31. The Romanian Ministry of Health announced today that the eight deaths occurred in several central, northern, and eastern counties. A record low temperature of minus 32 degrees Celsius (-25.6 ºF) was recorded on Tuesday morning in central Romania. Temperatures plummeted to minus 34.4 degrees (-29.92 ºF) in the central district of Covasna on Monday. The lowest temperatures ever recorded in this part of the country never fell minus 29.5 degrees (-21.1 ºF), reports said.
