Description: Three people had to be rescued after a taxi got stuck in flood water. Emergency services were called to Icknield Street in Kings Norton, Birmingham, during Thursday night, to reports of people being trapped. A West Midlands Fire Service and Rescue spokeswoman said the vehicle had somehow got trapped in half a metre (1.6ft) of water. Paramedics treated the three people for shock and the effects of the cold weather, she added.
