Damage level: Heavy (Level 3) Not confirmed information! Description: Torrential rains and snow melting in last few days caused floods in the regions of Strumica, Bitola and Prilep. Water has covered almost the whole area of Pelagonia – lands belonging to villages of Novaci, Ptichari, Egri, Zagorani and Cheligovo. Villages of Monospitovo, Borievo and Trnovo have been flooded in the region of Strumica close to the Macedonian – Bulgarian border. Agrarian producers expect floods to affect the winter crops expecting lower harvest in barley, oats and wheat.
