Description: An American Airlines aircraft has been involved in a landing incident at Kingston, Jamaica late Tuesday night. American Flight 331, a Boeing 737-800 which originated at Washington National, and was scheduled to arrive in Kingston at 9:10PM Eastern following a brief stop in Miami, was reported to have "broken in two" on the runway during a rainstorm. The aircraft overshot the runway during the approach. Initial reports are that the aircraft was carrying 145 passengers, and six crew. At 11:03PM CST, American Airlines tweeted there had been no injuries or fatalities among those on board. American Airlines spokesman Charley Wilson has advised all passengers on board have been evacuated, but advised no further details are currently available. More information on the Flight 331 will be provided as it becomes available.
