Not confirmed information! Description: Damage reports are plentiful around the ArkLaTex after severe weather blew through on Wednesday night. Most of the action was in east Texas where tornado warnings sounded beginning early in the afternoon. Hundreds of people are in harms way. David Armendariz was one of them. "In a split second, the wind just picked up, everything in my yard went to my fence" he says. Escaping from their Longview, Texas mobile home, a car was all this couple had to shield them from the storm. "We went over to the bridge on 281 and 80 and we could see the tornado. It was brutal. Our car was shaking. I could see the debris flying from the funnel cloud. That thing grew so big and black and the lightening was orange" he says. Just a few blocks away a Fed-Ex truck was turned over like a toy near the side of the building. Crews were dispatched to clear downed power lines, causing outages for thousands. Some roads are impassible. Police are setting up barricades blocking them off to traffic. Two holiday travelers stopped to get food, providing a much needed break.
