American Airlines plane overshoots Jamaica runway

KINGSTON (Reuters) - An American Airlines Boeing 737 overshot the runway while landing at Kingston international airport in Jamaica late on Tuesday, and around 40 passengers were treated in the hospital, some for broken bones, authorities said.

Health bill clears second Senate hurdle

BAGHDAD (Reuters) - A U.S. commander in northern Iraq does not expect to order a court martial for soldiers who become pregnant, but has not rolled back a controversial new policy on pregnancy, a military spokesman said on Wednesday.
