Description: More fish kills in the Corpus Christi area are blamed on the toxic algae bloom known as red tide. The Texas Parks and Wildlife Department on Monday reported that city crews collected about 60 bags of dead fish along the Cole Park shoreline. The agency says the fish washed ashore due to red tide. Red tide can cause temporary breathing trouble, burning eyes and skin irritation in people.
