Dutch airport to use full-body scan for U.S. flights

THE HAGUE (Reuters) - Amsterdam's Schiphol Airport will begin using full-body scanners within three weeks to check people traveling to the United States, after consultations with U.S. authorities, the Dutch interior minister said on Wednesday.

Bombs kill more than 30 in Iraq

RAMADI, Iraq (Reuters) - Twin suicide bombs killed at least 24 and wounded more than 100 in Iraq's Sunni Arab heartland on Wednesday and a roadside bomb killed seven pilgrims returning from a major Shi'ite Muslim religious festival.

JetBlue plane makes emergency landing in Bermuda

HAMILTON, Bermuda (Reuters) - A JetBlue Airways Corp passenger jet on a flight from Aruba to Boston made an emergency landing in Bermuda on Tuesday after the crew reported smoke in the cockpit, a local newspaper said on Wednesday, quoting fire service and airline officials.

North Korea pilfering nuclear reactor site: report

SEOUL (Reuters) - North Korea has been taking equipment left at a nuclear reactor site that was mothballed when an international consortium halted work on grounds the communist state was breaking an agreement, a news report said on Wednesday.
