Description: Six persons were killed in separate incidents of lightning and rain-related incidents in Madhya Pradesh which experienced showers accompanied by hailstorm in several parts, official sources said today. Three persons, including two women, were killed and three others injured yesterday after lightning struck them at village Dhoria in Shivpuri district, they said. The incident occurred when the victims were working in a field. Two persons were electrocuted in Ujjain district, while a 16-year-old youth died due to lightning in Barwani district, the sources said. Several districts under Indore and Ujjain divisions witnessed hailstorm yesterday, they said. In Rajgarh district's Kishanpuria village, a hail weighing over half kg fell in an agriculture field damaging crop, the sources said. Bhopal, Gwalior and Sagar divisions also experienced rains due to a low pressure over Gujarat and Rajasthan, Met Department sources said.
