Description: A reactor block at a nuclear power plant in southern Russia is being shut down due to a steam generator failure, Interfax news agency reported on Sunday citing local emergency services. The agency said radiation levels in the area around Volgodon nuclear plant remained normal. It said the plant's safety system was triggered by a leak in the steam generator pipes, which required a stoppage of the whole reactor block.
