Markets to open lower on Greece, earnings help Dow

NEW YORK (Reuters) - U.S. stock index futures pointed to a lower open on Tuesday after Germany demanded new austerity measures from Greece, prompting worries over Greek debt, although strong earnings reports limited losses in the Dow.

Ford posts quarterly profit, raises 2010 outlook

DETROIT (Reuters) - Ford Motor Co posted a $2.1 billion first-quarter profit that exceeded Wall Street forecasts as North American production and sales picked up, and it raised its 2010 outlook to "solidly profitable."
