Description: An apparent tornado was seen in the Enterprise area Thursday afternoon but no injuries or significant damages were reported, the National Weather Service said. Ken Gould, a meteorologist with the weather service office in Tallahassee, Fla., said the twister was reported to have touched down around 12:10 p.m. CDT at the intersection of Alabama state roads 87 and 134. Meteorologist Kelly Godsey said there was some minor structural damage to homes in New Brockton but nothing more serious. Eight Enterprise High School students were killed when a tornado struck the school in 2007 and Thursday was the anniversary of a tornado that killed 32 people in Birmingham in 1998. Storm systems, some with heavy rain, were moving around parts of Alabama and tornado watches were in effect for several counties on the Alabama, Georgia and Florida state lines.
